LTP offers a supportive environment for students who have struggled in a traditional school or at
home, and/or have attended a therapeutic setting and are in need of continued scaffolding and
guidance.

We offer therapeutic services for those students who need additional support for emotional,
behavioral, and academic related issues. Examples may be bullying victims, ADD / learning
issues, anxiety, depression, school refusal, low self-esteem, etc. Lake Tahoe Prep provides
many of the components of a traditional boarding school, including a full range of academic
classes, college prep and ACT/SAT test prep, etc., while additionally providing the expertise to
work specifically with those students transitioning from higher levels of care.

Our unique program fosters the success of each and every student. Our low student to faculty ratio of 7:1 inspires a superior academic program built on individualized learning and meaningful relationships. Our students benefit from taking part in the best outdoor sports Lake Tahoe offers, including big mountain skiing, and our wellness model prioritizes the physical, emotional, and social health of our students.
